The EWEA Annual Event 2011 is the premier international wind energy event to take place in Europe and with over 400 exhibitors and 10,000 wind energy professionals from over sixty countries in attendance, it will be EWEA’s largest ever annual conference. The exhibition will be held at the Brussels EXPO International Expocentre, from March 14th-17th, 2011, and SGS Renewable is very keen to present its wide range of Wind Energy Services to the thousands of attendees as well as being very pleased to be a regular participant.
The scope of the services SGS will showcase includes Project Execution, Project Certification, and In-Service Inspection.
Wind Farm Project Certification services offered by SGS Renewable helps to minimize the technical project risk in wind farm projects by providing independent and site-specific assessment and certification of wind farm projects, both onshore and offshore, as well as the inspection and testing of critical components such as rotor blades, gearboxes and towers. SGS offers certification services for each phase of a wind farm project in order to ensure that the wind farm will perform successfully throughout its intended lifetime.
Another relevant service for wind farm owners is Project Execution. With this service, SGS assists clients in the efficient development and finalization of their wind energy projects. Project Execution can generally be described as a combination of providing the client with Tender Support, Project Management and Owner’s Representative Services. A Project Execution generally begins with the tender phase and ends with the handover of the wind energy project to the client.
Attendees will also have a unique chance to learn more about In-Service Inspection services, of increasing importance in the running and maintenance of wind farms.
