The Reference Network in Advanced Materials for Energy (XaRMAE), the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC), the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB) and SuperPower Inc. are organising the symposium on Superconducting Devices for Wind Energy.
This symposium, which is co-directed by the lecturer Dr Joan Ramon Morante, Head of the IREC’s Area of Advanced Materials for Energy, will be attended by specialists from industry, leading international universities and wind energy research centres. They will give an overview of the current situation of this technology, with particular emphasis placed on the technological solutions for superconducting materials that are currently available on the market and future trends.
The symposium will take place on 25 February from 09:00 to 17:00 h at the IREC’s offices in Barcelona.
