International Shipping Partners Inc./ISP and Blue Water Shipping A/S have signed an agreement to market the ISP fleet of vessels to the offshore industry as floating hotel accommodation under the brand name “Comfort at Sea”. The agreement covers the extensive fleet of 23 ferry, cruise and hotel vessels managed by ISP, but initially Blue Water Shipping’s marketing will focus on five vessels only.

ISP has extensive knowledge in managing accommodation vessels with offshore track records from the Mexican Gulf; as living quarters in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina; and in Haiti for the UN employees assisting the local communities after the earthquake in 2010.

“The combination of our two companies will be a powerful brand in the industry and our intention is to be the market leaders for this segment. We have completed details for a web page and brochures, and the commercial work is underway with the first charter in the making.” says Blue Water Shipping founder Kurt Skov.

We are looking forward to supplying our vessels to the offshore industry and by working with maximum flexibility and close contact to the clients, we will be able to provide the industry with tailor-made hotel accommodation at sea”, Niels-Erik Lund from ISP states.

ISP will be the manager of the new product while Blue Water Shipping A/S will focus solely on marketing through existing and new contacts. The web page www.comfortatsea.com has been established and brochures and presentations will be available through Blue Water Shipping A/S at various exhibitions and conferences across Europe.
