PMSS, a global consulting firm working exclusively in the renewable energy sector today announced that US wind industry professional Julien Bouget, has been named as Lead Engineer, Project Assurance for its North America business unit – PMSS America, Inc. (“PMSSA”). This follows last month’s announcement of the company’s appointment of Sebastian Chivers as its Senior Vice President for US operations.
Mr Bouget has over a decade of experience in the wind energy sector with a specific expert focus on resource assessment, energy production estimate, project design and financing. Prior to joining PMSS, Mr Bouget spent 5 years with AWS Truepower, as a Senior Engineer for 3 years, and most recently as Lead Engineer, Investor Services Team Leader with responsibility for due diligence efforts worldwide. Prior to this Mr Bouget spent 3 years as a Project Manager for turbine manufacturer VERGNET, managing projects in New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu. Prior to that, Mr Bouget was an advisor to the New Caledonian government on renewable energy.
Based from the company’s headquarters in New York City, Mr Bouget will lead PMSS America’s project assurance activity in the USA, both onshore and offshore including technical due diligence, independent engineering and project development services.
