Marine engineering company SeaRoc, part of the Natural Power group, have signed a joint agreement with marine technology specialists CDS Wind Ltd. (CDS) of Seoul, Korea, to help further develop the offshore wind energy industry in Korea and China.
Working closely with the government, developers, turbine manufacturers, utilities, investors and financiers, this agreement is set to bridge the offshore wind energy success stories in Europe to the shores of Korea and China.
SeaRoc currently provide marine, engineering, health & safety and data management services to a large number of offshore projects in the UK, Europe and North America. The team of mariners and engineers and project managers have extensive experience of the complete marine project lifecycle allowing them to offer clients a wide range of services focussed on delivering offshore renewable projects safely and efficiently. SeaRoc will utilise extensive offshore experience in conjunction with CDS’ strong local knowledge and client base in Korea and China where CDS currently consult on the technical, contracting and financing of offshore wind energy projects.
