The Fugro Consult GmbH was commissioned by E.ON for the geotechnical exploration for “Arkona-Becken Südost” offshore wind farm , which E. ON is planning to build in the Baltic Sea.
Work was carried out in the summer and early fall of this year, and now has been completed in water depths of approximately 22 to 37 m.
Fugro used:
– Seacore Excalibur, jackup barge
– Fugro Commander, geotechnical vessel
– Pauline, jack-up platform
The geotechnical investigation included 79 boreholes with depths of up to 60 m below the seabed.
In some locations for wind turbines and the substation CPTs tests were carried out with the Wison system.
