Formaco has delivered two 17-ton steel rings produced in Italy to a customer in the Dutch offshore industry.
These parts are for a lifting tool that lifts 800 tons and 60 meters long tubes.
The rings with diameter of Ø3,5 meters, height of 900 mm were forged from solid 25 tons blocks of steel.
The whole process was supervised by the Lloyd Register of Lifting Appliance. All measurements and procedures are documented, ultimately approved and recorded.
