Demonstration of first ocean energy farms, is now open.
DEXAWAVE had the first and initial consortium meeting in Malta in week 2. The target is to collaborate with up to 18 different partners across Europe, and involving smaller and larger companies, universities and other RTD’s.
In particular, this project aims at continuing and accelerating the stepwise development of the converter concept, scaling up directly from a 1:5 scale model converter to 1:1 full scale demonstrators, which is only possible in cooperation with an efficient and competent network based consortium. The implementation of such scale-up and demonstration project requires innovative approaches for addressing several technical challenges.
