The Graig Group has launched a new subsidiary, Graig Offshore Limited, which will consolidate and expand the Group’s existing services to the offshore energy industries.
Based in Oslo and Cardiff, Graig Offshore will be headed up by Jan Erik Granholdt, who has extensive offshore experience. Graig currently provides newbuilding support and supervision for offshore vessels and in service inspection and supervision of offshore support vessels on behalf of major ship finance banks. The new company will bring those services under a single management and allow offshore companies, in traditional oil and gas and also renewables, to access the full range of Graig services and strengths.

The Group’s aim is to develop Graig Offshore to deliver innovative new designs and partnerships in the offshore support field, replicating the successes in the project vessel, bulk carrier and containership fields.
