Federal and state officials are going to hold meetings to provide information and hear public opinions on the planned offshore wind energy projects, reports Cape Cod Times.
The meetings are scheduled to be held on Monday in Boston.
The area selected for the potential projects covers about 825,000 acres, however it is still half less than it was initially proposed.
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management wants to collect public comments on circumstances surrounding the area and the present manner of its utilization.
