This year, Blue Water Shipping is participating with two own stands at the EWEA2012 in Copenhagen from 16 to 19 April.

First stand is located in the Danish Pavilion and staffed by representatives from Blue Water office in Esbjerg, Denmark. The second stand is situated in the French Pavilion, and serviced by colleagues from Blue Water’s office in Brest, France.

“EWEA is the most important event in this segment, attracting representatives from the wide array of companies involved in wind energy all over the world. As Danes, we do, of course, look forward to host the EWEA2012”, says Business Development Manager Jacob Kjærgaard from Blue Water Shipping in Denmark.

General Manager Mogens Nielsen, Blue Water Shipping Brest, states that “with the planned offshore wind activities in France, we look forward to being a part of the French delegation. This exhibition is an excellent opportunity for the French to see how this industry has grown in Northern Europe in recent years. The development has naturally been followed closely, but I am certain that it will make an impression to witness first-hand the interest and involvement at an event such as this”.

Blue Water Shipping has been involved in wind logistics since 1995, every year transporting around 2,600 wind turbine components worldwide.

Presently, a few of their major projects include a shipment of 140 Vestas onshore turbines (V112) to Australia, port operations and services for the offshore wind farms London Array and Sherringham Shoal – all from Esbjerg in Denmark, from which Lincs offshore Wind Farm components have also been scheduled for shipment to England. In Grenaa on the East coast of Jutland in Denmark, Blue Water Shipping is heavily involved in the Anholt Offshore Project.
