Carnegie Wave Energy Limited announced the participation of Mr Kieran O’Brien, Executive Director of European Business Development in a panel at the All Energy Conference in Aberdeen, Scotland today.
The company is the ASX-listed inventor, owner and developer of the patented CETO wave energy technology that converts ocean swell into zero-emission renewable power and desalinated fresh water. The technology has been independently verified by EDF EN and the French naval contractor DCNS.
Carnegie has a private Wave Energy Research Facility and onshore/offshore test site and commercial scale in-ocean testing at Garden Island, Western Australia with 25 engineering, commercial, and administration staff. Also, it has 100 patents or patent applications.
The company raised over USD 50 million development capital since 2006 and was awarded USD 16 million in Government grants this month.
