Ireland-based boat building company, Arklow Marine Services, has almost completed the second 20 metre wind farm service vessel, Gardian 10.
The company said the outfitting of vessel is progressing well. Painting has commenced and the vessel is due to be launched on 22nd June, 2012
Recently, the company has built its first-ever 20-metre Wind Farm Service Vessel “Gardian 8″ for GBP 1.7 Million.
Arklow Marine Services is a family business run by the Tyrrell family, involved in boat building in Arklow since 1864. During this period, the art of shipbuilding has evolved through many phases, from traditional timber boat building to steel boat building and the latest material being aluminum, which is used in the building of high speed vessels.
