At the same time as the foundation for Anholt Offshore Wind Farm is being installed, Siemens Wind Power has started the production of the elements which will become a wind turbine in Anholt Offshore Wind Farm.
The production of nacelles (wind turbine cabinets) has already begun in Brande, and in Ølgod the production of the hubs has also begun. The towers are produced by Welcon in Give and by Marsh in Herning. The 333 blades are produced at Siemens’ blade factory in Aalborg, and here the production for Anholt Offshore Wind Farm has just begun.
As part of the quality assurance of the production, a First Article Inspection is carried out, where DONG Energy and Siemens together thoroughly inspect the first production example from A-Z. This inspection will form the basis of references for the subsequent supplies – both mechanical and electrical supplies.
