Among other things, the new After Sales and Service division will be presented and visitors will also be able to see the PK 40002 M nacelle crane. Palfinger Marine Services specializes in services for the marine and offshore industry and unifies the global service network of PALFINGER WIND. Customers will receive fast and proficient help 24/7 from a single-source.
Services will be offered for marine, wind, offshore and davit cranes, winches and lifesaving equipment from a variety of manufacturers. The range of services includes annual inspections and maintenance, OEM spare parts, comprehensive service agreements and training courses in addition to hook testing of release and retrieval systems. There will be extensive information about PALFINGER WIND available to anyone interested at booth E09 in hall 2.
Complete lifting system using the PK 40002 M nacelle crane
The PK 40002 M nacelle crane will be presented at the booth. With an outreach of up to 25 meters and a lifting moment of 31 mt, the knuckle-boom crane has proven itself in use on wind turbines of a variety of offshore wind farms such as Thornton Bank I, II & III, Nordsee Ost, Ormonde and Alpha Ventus.
Thanks to the compact design, there is space for the PK 40002 M in virtually any nacelle. Typically combined with a PSM 400 platform crane, it delivers the perfect combination of supply ship, platform and nacelle. Supply and maintenance work can be carried out safely and quickly thus shortening idle time of the wind turbines.
PALFINGER France added as new dealer for PALFINGER WIND
Contracts were recently awarded in France for five new wind farms off the coast of Normandy and Brittany. Thomas Nitsch, Head of PALFINGER Wind Cranes , says: “Our expansion of PALFINGER WIND’s dealer network in France is the consistent implementation of our strategy of being present with competent contacts wherever there are offshore wind farms. The next steps are already being planned for Spain and China.”
PALFINGER France, with its headquarters in Etoile/Rhône in the southeast of France, will be on site locally in future for prospective customers and customers of PALFINGER WIND.
