The first location is 705MW Le Treport in northern France and a second off the island of Noirmoutier with a capacity of 600 MW.
Earlier this year France awarded four out of five locations for offshore wind development.
GDF Suez and Siemens failed in a bid to develop the fifth site which will be on tender on September 16.
