Following the variation order for the supply of sealed hang-off systems for an offshore wind farm project in the North Sea, in order to validate the functionality of the sealing concept, Vos Prodect Innovations has performed a real life sealing test with a piece of yarned submarine cable positioned in the cable hang-off system.
The applied pressure to the test setup is in line with the project requirements and the leakage rate is well within the “water tight” classifications, representing the same values as the previously executed concept test.
Vos Prodect Innovations announces that the Ad Hoc engineered sealing components performed very well and can be implemented to any offshore wind farm project regardless of the cable type.
