Workships Contractors and Frisia-Offshore will present their cooperation at Husum Wind Exhibition 2012. Both companies have announced a partnership in the crew vessel business earlier this year; it will be the first time they present themselves together at an exhibition. FRISIA-Offshore and Workships Contractors are joining forces to provide the highest quality of crew transfer services to clients in the German and Dutch offshore renewable markets. Together they offer five vessels suitable for operations in German waters as part of their larger pool that operates throughout North Europe. By setting up a joint venture solely dedicated to crew transfer vessels, they aim to strengthen their combined position in the wind market. Further expansion of the fleet is planned with larger crew vessels to meet the future needs of their clients. Workships Contractors and FRISIA-Offshore will be working together in operational matters, ensuring optimal local and customized services. Furthermore, the combined portfolio offers additional services which include: data measurement solutions, traffic control, yard supervision, buoy laying, vessel coordination logistics and QHSE consulting.
