AJ Woods, an engineering company, has been shortlisted for a GBP 2.28 million of funding, which will be provided by South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).
The funding will allow the company to support its part in the offshore renewables industry by building a wind farm hub, the Harwich and Manningtree Standard news site reports.
AJ Woods Engineering was founded in 1999 by Managing Director Tony Woods. The company started out as bespoke manufacturers and installers of steel and aluminium fabrications, before expanding its portfolio to include services in civil engineering and the marine and windfarm industry.
