Minister-President of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister for Economy, Foreign Policy, Agriculture and Rural Policy, Kris Peeters and Patrick Janssens mayor of the city of Antwerp will inaugurate Offshore Wind Infrastructure Application Lab in Antwerp on September 27.
A large environmental chamber – unique in its kind – has been built to test and validate wind turbine parts in cold and warm settings.
The OWI lab provides companies with state-of-the-art measuring and testing devices for wind energy. By bundling strength and knowledge, the lab helps the efficiency, reliability and profitability of offshore wind energy to really take off.
