With the launch of the Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm, Suffolk has hit a major milestone and has generated an important investment paving the way for growth of the local economy, EADT24 news site says.
Along with two proposed offshore wind farms, East Anglia One and the Galloper extension to Greater Gabbard, green energy as a key industry in Suffolk is set to boost in the near future.
The offshore wind farm has contributed to the employment rate in the area, bringing profit not only to local companies, but to the UK as well.
