Lowestoft based company East Coast Charters Ltd are due to take delivery of their new vessel ECC Challenger in the next few weeks.

The Challenger is built by East Coast Workcats a subsidiary company and this vessel marks the first project to be completed.

East Coast Charters General Manager Sam McNamee stated ” The delivery of ECC Challenger marks a massive step forward for our company and allows us to move away from our existing fleet and move the company forward.”

This custom designed crew and cargo vessel has been built with the ability to carry up to 11,000 litres of MGO or 10 Tonnes of marine cargo and deliver the MGO at a rate of 40 litres per minute at a range of 40 metres. It can also be used for survey contracts, dive contracts or as an ROV platform. This vessel can also be utilised for washing transition pieces utilizing a high pressure, high volume water delivery system.
