Donald Trump yesterday lost the support from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Scotland and Ministry of Defence (MoD) in his battle against the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC), the Daily Record says.
Mr. Trump is fighting against the offshore wind turbines, claiming that the project would damage the view from his new golf course.The MoD was concerned about radar disruption and RSPB about the project’s effect on birds.
Now since the studies show that the impact on birds would be negligible and that the MoD will receive improved radar hardware to avoid interference, both bodies decided to withdraw their opposition to the project.
