In a report of the offshore wind health and safety industry, where over 100 experts were surveyed, only 45% of them said that health and safety is the top priority for the offshore wind industry. On offshore projects, safety culture is considered the most challenging aspect. It appears that no one knows the right method to achieve safety culture in their organisation; this can be based on 50% of those surveyed who said that it can be achieved through all of the following; creating an integrated system, reducing contractual interfaces, sharing accident data between wind farms and employing a third party consultant.
To help companies in the offshore industry solve their health and safety challenges, including implementing safety culture, Wind Energy Update has put together the most senior level speaker line up in the conference space.
