CPNL Engineering GmbH, provides and engineers cable protection equipment, announced that the firm will supply a complete cable protection system, which will be used for the NSO offshore wind project of RWE, a leading utilities company in Germany.

RWE is the first company to adopt the cable protection system in a complete offshore wind farm, as it was convinced that CPNL’s equipment was easier to assemble and install than any other system in the market. An absolute pre in this project is that CPNL Engineering produces all the equipment in Germany; with a higher product material quality standard and against ISO 9001 and 14001 conditions. Overall, CPNL Engineering is the only supplier that has full control of engineering, production and quality management processes, as all production facilities are within reach of the firm in Germany.

“The cable protection system of CPNL Engineering fits perfectly in this project where limited time is available for cable installation. The cable installations will benefit with our protectors as we are able to save up to 3 hours per cable entry.’ Ton Tuk (Director, CPNL Engineering)

The cable protection system of CPNL Engineering is a one of a kind, as it is the first system that can be adapted to any kind of cable project. The simple configured system consists of the strongest articulated pipes, an all-in-one centralizer (with clamp and seal), compact hang-off (sealed) and joint solutions. The protection equipment receives an increasing support from the market due to the simplicity of the products, the high product (material) quality, the cost saving aspect of the products at time of installation and maintenance, and the possibility to install the products in installation and post-installation stage.

CPNL Engineering has delivered to customers with positive references including Princess Amalia OWF, CT Offshore and Eneco.
