Tocardo, the leading producer of tidal and free-flow water turbines, has appointed Radboud van Kleef as Chief Commercial Officer.
Radboud brings over 15 years’ experience in business development and know-how to grow companies. He has worked in an international corporate environment across a variety of industries, most recently as an advisor in the financial sector.
Commenting on his appointment, Radboud said: “I am delighted to be joining Tocardo at such an exciting time for both the business and the tidal energy industry as a whole. The opportunities at this time for Tocardo are immense as it attracts new shareholders and explores new geographies to expand into, and I look forward to helping Tocardo grow into one of the leading global tidal energy providers.”

This senior appointment is the latest in a number of strategic developments by Tocardo which most recently included a long-term partnership, in the form of a minority shareholding, with Huisman, which designs and manufactures heavy construction equipment for on and offshore companies and the appointment of Paul Morris as Managing Director of Tocardo Tidal Energy in the UK.
