Willi Balz, CEO of Windreich AG has welcomed the clear commitment of the federal government to offshore wind development, thus leading the energy revolution towards success.
Although Windreich’s projects have not been affected significantly due to its timely and professional preparation, the new clearer regulations will facilitate and speed up its negotiations with investors.
Therefore, the last barrier to investment for insurance companies and pension funds is finally removed.
Windreich’s first three wind farms will have a slight, if any, economic impact on TenneT, while consumers will not be charged at all.
For future projects, the company will put every effort in proactive project planning and management, so that consumers do not have to bear the burden of the projects’ construction.
