The number of offshore wind farms will expand in the years to come. With Wind Logistics being one of Blue Water Shipping’s major business areas, the company is represented by own offices in Denmark, France, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Germany.

Blue Water Shipping has a good position, as we continuously develop our products and services, and at the same time have strong knowledge and understanding for the many phases in a project,” says Jacob Kjærgaard, Head of Offshore Wind Europe .
Since September, Blue Water has expanded the Wind services and offered the transport of foundations for offshore wind turbines as part of the continuing development within the business area.
As a strategic part of the expectations for the future, Blue Water Shipping has partnered with Michael F. Ewings Shipping in Belfast where the office is operational and ready to service contractors and operators for the upcoming projects, which are to be erected outside Belfast in the Irish Sea. In England, expectations are high too with the cooperation with Blue Water Danbrit in respect of wind farms in the British sector – especially UK Round 3 Offshore program and also in the developing French market Blue Water has strengthened the set-up and focus.
“Blue Water Shipping has been and is currently involved in many projects – e.g. load outs from Esbjerg to London Array and Lincs. In respect of the Anholt project, we act as one-point-of-contact to all suppliers and operators via our Grenaa office. We have a positive outlook on the future, as we experience that our services and products create value for our clients,” says Jacob Kjærgaard .
