Governor Martin O’Malley said that he has delivered on some goals, unfortunately energy and transportation are not on that list, writes Maryland Reporter.
Energy use per capita has declined by 5% due to recession, but the goal was not to bring it down by 15% by 2015.
Renewable energy targets of 25%by 2022 are also lagging.
Namely, O’Malley is planning to introduce a similar bill , which was rejected by the General Assembly two times already, to ensure funding for an offshore wind farm.
