After the BOEM’s announcement about the proposals for the North Carolina offshore wind development areas, North Myrtle Beach officials are hoping to take advantage of this opportunity, according to the Associated Press.
The deadline for the proposals is January 28., 2013.
Recent report shows that North and South Carolina hold 33% of all offshore wind potential on the East coast, which the US Government is planning to harness.
