Teesside offshore wind farm, being built by EDF Energy Renewables, is taking shape.
As the construction has moved into the winter period, the developer has decided to use MPI Adventure for the installation of wind turbines which will resume soon.
This follows the successful installation of the transition pieces.
When this wind farm is completed it will consist of 27 turbines. With total capacity of 62.1MW it will be able to power 40,000 homes.
The wind farm is located 1.5 km off the Port of Hartlepool, which is being used as a supply base for the project.
