Sandbank Offshore Wind GmbH has invited tender for offshore wind farm works.
The whole project consists of 96 wind turbine generators, foundations, inter-array cables and an offshore substation.
The wind farm is located in the German Bight offshore area, 90kms west of the island of Sylt, in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) with water depths of 25m-34m. The Sandbank project is equipped with an irrevocable permit.
In the first construction phase 288 MW inter-array cables will be laid.
