International renewable energy consultancy, Natural Power, continues to expand its service offerings by introducing a full range of Design and Advisory Services to the renewable energy market.
Heading up this service is David Wright, who has joined Natural Power from URS Scott Wilson. David’s role will see him co-ordinate and manage design services to client projects, including the provision of focussed design advice in relation to due diligence commissions for finance sector clients. David brings with him a wealth of experience in major infrastructure facilities development across the wind, hydro and water sectors and is based in the company’s 12th office, in Stirling, UK.
Shane Bermingham, another ex URS Scott Wilson employee, has also joined the company to enhance Natural Power’s civil engineering services which sit alongside the in-house structural, electrical and turbine engineering capabilities already provided to the market.
Commenting on the new service offering, David noted: “Natural Power’s amplified range of services now includes civil / structural balance of plant design, geotechnical design, transmission engineering and turbine technology advisory services.
“ We have found that front end engineering can be of real advantage to developers and purchasers, and investment in a slightly deeper level of design early on can identify and avoid issues that otherwise may have a significant impact on the consented project”.
