NIRAS Consulting Ltd. began business in Cambridge, in December 2010. Since then the office has expanded to 15 employees, utilising Tim Norman’s expertise within the offshore wind industry. On the 1st of July 2012 a second office was opened in London, and continued growth is expected.
From this new office NIRAS’ consultants offer expertise in the development of offshore wind, with a special focus on Environmental Impact Assessments, Planning and Consenting and Training.
Following a recent assignment to support an EIA, NIRAS Consulting are now involved in over two thirds of Round 3 development zones.
Apart from the work on the Round 3 development zones, NIRAS Consulting advises The Crown Estate and RenewableUK on planning, consenting and environmental issues.
