The wind energy cluster windcomm Schleswig-Holstein eV has strengthened its board with new appointments.
Volker Koehne from GL Garrad Hassan Germany GmbH was elected to the Board at a recent general meeting. The Board will be chaired by Renate Duggen, director of Rendsburg Port Authority. Deputy Chairman remains Asmus Thomsen from the VR-Bank Niebüll, who served previously on this position.
Ulla Meixner, who was responsible for the strategic direction of the association for two years as vice-chairman and one year as CEO, was no longer a candidate. She will continue her devotion through her new role as Manager of a Broadband Network Company in Breklum.
During her tenure, she played a decisive role ahead of the profiling and networking the windcomm eV at the level of federal and provincial policies and the number of members doubled since it was founded in 2010.
