British private non-profit organization, the National Trust, stated that it will fight against 25 wind power projects to preserve the unspoiled landscape around rural areas and protect properties under threat, UPI.com news site reports.

As the county is speeding up with its onshore and offshore wind projects, the National Trust has been receiving “enraged letters” regarding new developments that could harm landscapes, the news site cites Trust Chairman Simon Jenkins.

The organization is not opposing several offshore wind farms, but it has a responsibility to protect landscape and property under threat, Mr. Jenkins said.
