Natural Power’s Business Development Manager for Wave & Tidal, Sally Roberts, has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors at Orkney Renewable Energy Forum (OREF).
OREF’s principal aims are to promote and develop sustainable local energy resources and promote local skills and expertise, benefiting the local community in Orkney.
Sally commented on her recent appointment: “I am very excited to have been invited to sit on the Board of Directors at OREF. OREF is an excellent platform for renewable energy professionals living and working in Orkney, along with those with a personal interest in renewable to promote and support Orkney’s renewable energy ambitions.”
Natural Power established an office at Kirkwall Harbour, Orkney in June 2012 following successful experience in the international wave and tidal energy sector since 2005, working for a wide client base including utilities, device developers and stakeholders.
