Germany: Dong Seeks Contractor for Gode Wind 1 and 2

Dong Energy is looking for a contractor for transportation and installation of offshore substations for Gode Wind 02 and Gode Wind 01 Offshore Wind Farms.

The contract also includes transportation and installation of 4 or 8 tubular piles and 1 topside for each wind farm.

In August 2012, Dong Energy acquired German Gode Wind 1, 2 and 3 from PNE Wind.

The first two projects, with around 138 turbines, have a total capacity of up to 584 megawatt and are located in the German North Sea, approx. 30 km northwest of the island of Norderney.
