On the 19th of March, Flanders Maritime Cluster organised the first edition of “Belgian Offshore Wind Suppliers”.
The goal of this B2B event was to enhance the connection between the offshore wind companies and the more traditional local businesses. The plenary sessions by Kristof Verlinden (Production Manager Belwind) and Benjamin Colbrandt (Operations Manager C-Power) outlined a clear overview about the needs during the maintenance of offshore turbines.
These young companies are looking for long-term relationships with the local, maritime business.
