American billionaire Donald Trump is taking European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre’s (EOWDC) development plan to court, writes the Associated Press.
Namely, Trump is opposing this renewable energy development because, as he said, they will ruin the view from his luxury golf resort.
The Trump Organization said Thursday it has lodged a petition with Scotland’s Court of Session, as it is looking for judicial review of the GBP 230 million project.
EOWDC will consist of 11 wind turbines located in Aberdeen Bay.
Trump feels that the Scottish government is backing this renewable energy project because they have a financial stake in it.
