UK Trade & Investment Denmark and the Danish Energy Agency will give presentations about the 3.0 GW of Offshore and Onshore wind projects in Denmark, including the 1.5 GW of Offshore wind projects at Horns Reef 3 and Krieger’s Flak, where tenders will be going out from 2013-2015.
The side-event will inform about the business opportunities for companies, timelines for projects and tenders, and the requirements to tender for individual steps of the project life cycle in order for companies to position themselves to win business. The Danish Energy Agency are looking to get as much feedback from industry as possible regarding concerns or positive input to the tendering process in order to secure a fair and open competitive tendering process. UK Trade & Investment will also touch upon the setup of grid connectivity of the two wind farms on behalf of the Danish DSO/TSO Energinet.dk. They welcome companies of all sizes and professions to the update on the big Danish opportunity.
