Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri has just supplied the third service vessel to Anholt Offshore Wind Farm. The vessel was named Kattegat Wind.
The vessels are custom-designed for transport of service technicians and spare parts for Anholt Offshore Wind Farm. The vessels are two single-hulled service vessels seating 12 passengers and up to three crew members.
The vessels must be designed to provide safe and efficient transport with great comfort for the passengers and crew members. Special emphasis is put on ensuring a minimum noise and vibration level.
The first two vessels, Anholt Wind and Djurs Wind, were supplied in 2012 and are already frequently used to assist with the extensive transport of manpower and logistics.
