The Crown Estate intends to enter into negotiations with Centrica (RBW) Limited in relation to the grant of further rights over the offshore wind farm project at Race Bank, situated off the Lincolnshire and north Norfolk coasts.
The proposed further rights will extend existing arrangements allowing Centrica (RBW) Limited to call for a lease of the Race Bank site, but will not alter the extent or nature of the proposed wind farm itself.
It is expected that any further rights granted will expire on 1 July 2015 and such rights would be granted by way of a new agreement for lease between Centrica (RBW) Limited and The Crown Estate.
