Blue Water loaded the last component from the Port of Esbjerg to the German wind farm Riffgat Offshore Wind Farm which is located in the North Sea. The turbines were installed by the experienced Norwegian company Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, who looks back on a positive project.

“We have loaded ‘Bold Tern’ four times with a total of 30 turbines including nacelles, tower sections and rotor blades. In addition to the stevedore assignments, we have also handled crew changes, various purchases for the ship and ensured that spare parts have been delivered,” says Klaus Odby Jensen .
The foundations for Riffgat were installed in 2012 and now the last turbine is in place. The annual output for the project is expected to supply around 120,000 households.
