GL Renewables Certification (GL RC) has appointed Holger Trecksel as its new Head of Business Development and Sales. In his new position, he will be responsible for worldwide customer management in the area of certification services.
Mr Trecksel will enhance global customer relationships, working closely together with GL RC’s regional managers in UK, China, India and the US. In addition, Mr Trecksel will lead GL RC’s marine renewables business. He is based in GLRC’s Head Office in Hamburg. GL RC is one of the leading certification bodies in the renewable energies sector, particularly in respect of type, component and project certification as well as design assessment.

Holger Trecksel holds a degree in naval architecture and has over ten years’ experience in professional engineering roles. He gained extensive sales and project management know-how, having worked for a major engineering company on propeller technology.
