Tessa Forsblad (35) has taken on a new managerial assignment in the HANNOVER MESSE business unit of the Deutsche Messe group of companies.
Ms. Forsblad has been named the new Project Director of Industrial Automation, one of the 11 trade fairs under the unifying umbrella of HANNOVER MESSE. Forsblad will report directly to Marc Siemering (42), Senior Vice President for HANNOVER MESSE.
Forsblad joined Deutsche Messe in September 2002 as a project consultant. She was initially responsible for establishing China’s first automation fair. This was followed by trade fairs in Turkey and India. After this she completed a cooperative work/study program, obtaining a university degree in Marketing. On 1 September 2009 she was promoted to department manager in the Global Fairs division of Deutsche Messe, where she was able to add to her expertise in the international tradeshow marketplace. In this capacity she was responsible for establishing trade fairs in Russia, the United States, Brazil and Italy.
