Bladt Sends Away Last Three WoDS Foundations (Denmark)

Today, the last three foundations are out-loaded from Bladt Industries, Aalborg, and setting sails towards Belfast. Today, the last three foundations are out-loaded from Bladt Industries, Aalborg, and setting sails towards Belfast.

The West of Duddon Sands (WoDS) project has been in motion for almost a year, as Bladt have manufactured the 108 monopiles and 108 transition pieces, which were ready this July.

The closure of the West of Duddon Sands project also marks the beginning of a new project for Bladt Industries. The Westermost Rough project, for which the company will be manufacturing 35 new foundations, has just been set in motion at its facilities in Aalborg.
