Peter Jorgensen, Managing Director at CWind , said: “Tim knows our market very well given his many years in the industry. With him on board, we will be able to offer our services as turn-key or individual service packages to the recent spate of UK offshore wind farms coming online and which we helped to build. Since we have worked at most of them already we are in an excellent position to service them as well. Tim has a very strong understanding of what the industry requires moving forward, he is highly focused on developing innovative solutions to help drive down the cost of offshore wind energy. “

Tim Smith said: ”I am delighted to be joining the very dynamic team at CWind at this exciting time for the offshore wind industry; the company has grown sharply over the last few years, providing vessels and technicians to support the construction of wind farms in the North Sea. I’m looking forward to making a real impact for CWind in the O&M market. The development of standardized vessel classification is also an exciting project and one that I have a close personal interest in. CWind is committed to providing the best services in the industry and I am looking forward to taking this commitment to the next level.”
