INTPOW partners and friends are cordially invited to take part in a business delegation organised by the Taipei Representative Office in Norway to Taiwan between the 26th of October and the 1st of November.

Both solar, wind and thermal energy recovery companies will be able to explore business opportunities in Taiwan and capitalise on Taiwan’s unique advantage as an ideal gateway to the vast Chinese market. Meet your business partners and expand your market interest in Taiwan, China and beyond. The delegation will do field visits, B2B talks, exhibitions and informative conferences in Taiwan!

Taiwan targets 1,200 MW onshore wind by 2020. The offshore wind energy has a larger capacity, which starts from pilot projects in the shallow water area (<20M), and expands to full-scale wind farm in deeper areas, targeting 600 devices and 3 GW by 2030. Taiwan has established a full supply chain of wind turbine components. Taiwan welcomes any business alliance in offshore & marine technologies with the Norwegian operators.

Taiwan’s PV industry is largely focusing on the mid- and down-stream of the value chain such as solar cell and silicon wafer and imports polysilicon materials. Collaboration with up-stream companies are sought.

Energy recovery systems fit in the thermal process of steel mills, oil refineries, petrochemical factory and cement industry etc. With its competence in low cost energy recovery, Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) works to expand the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) project. Norwegian companies are welcome to join the energy recovery project as partner for joint venture or strategic alliance.

The 2nd Taiwan-Norway Business Cooperation Conference scheduled for the 29th of October 2013 at the Taipei International Conference Center includes speeches, presentations and B2B business meetings, and will be topped off with a dinner banquet.
