As of 15 August 2013 A2SEA has employed Andy Reay as new Key Account Manager in the UK and Ireland. He comes from a position as Power Sector Business Manager at ABB Consulting in the UK.

Facing the new, challenging markets and business structures it is important for A2SEA to build good and solid customer relations. In that connection A2SEA has employed a new Key Account Manager for the UK and Ireland, Andy Reay. Andy’s focus areas will be following the customers closely and supporting and advising them in issues around offshore wind transport and instal-lation services and planning. Furthermore, Andy will manage the UK office.

Andy Reay sees working with offshore wind as a chance to help build an environmentally sus-tainable energy industry. And he is looking forward to capitalising on offshore wind opportuni-ties in the UK and Ireland. “I’m very enthusiastic about the potential for offshore wind and I want to use my experience in the UK power market to further develop the industry”.

Also Martin Huss, Chief Sales Officer in A2SEA, is very happy with the employment of Andy Reay: “We see a change in the market and customers are very focused on keeping costs down. It is important that our customers know and experience that our knowhow helps make a dif-ference when customers decide on and plan projects. Our role is increasingly advisory. So a close relationship with customers is important.”
